On Jan 8th, 2012, a multi-sensory room in Xiamen social welfare center officially went into service. This room is donated by Huisman China. All kind of multi-sensory activity will be carried out in this room. These types of activities have been launched in several European countries for already many years. They are mainly used for early childhood development training, children rehabilitation treatment, physically handicapped and for the elderly rehabilitation therapy. With help of audiovisuals, sense of touch aids and all sorts of other sensory equipment the children’s sensory system will enhance or ease. In the special designed interactive environment, several activities can be conducted simultaneously.

Besides this charity project, Huisman China is supporting the Longhai special school for already many years.
